Welcome to the Registered Organisations Commission website.
The Registered Organisations Commission (ROC) was established on 1 May 2017. It is headed by the Registered Organisations Commissioner, Mr Mark Bielecki. Mr Bielecki has worked extensively as both a senior lawyer and financial regulator. He has over 10 years of experience in senior legal roles and was previously the South Australian Regional Commissioner for ASIC.
The Registered Organisations Commission is the new regulator for unions and employer associations.
The ROC assists organisations with compliance with the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009. However, some registered organisations functions remain with the Fair Work Commission. Organisations should ensure that they are lodging their applications and documents with the correct Commission.
