Practical information and tips to assist registered organisations and branches to prepare and lodge an Officer and Related Party Disclosure Statement (ORPS) are the focus of the latest new webinar.
Within six months of the end of the financial year of the organisation and/or branch, an ORP statement must be prepared and provided to members and the ROC.
The new webinar outlines the requirements of an ORP statement and the types of resources available to assist, including guidance notes, checklist and a template available on the ROC website here.
The obligation to prepare and lodge an ORP statement is separate and in addition to financial reporting requirements.
By way of reminder, statements need to be lodged no later than 31 December 2018 by all organisations and branches which had financial years ending on 30 June 2018. This includes branches that have an exemption from financial reporting.
